Confined Space Rescue Teams

Confined space work is often dangerous and without taking the appropriate actions to protect the health and safety of all entrants into the confined space significant incidents can result.  Failure on the employer’s part to take into consideration all hazards related to the confined space work will in turn lead to a lack of controls to protect the workforce from these hazards.  With the cost of non-compliance constantly on the rise Owners of the facilities which include the confined spaces must ensure that the contractors hired to perform the confined space work at their facilities are fully trained and knowledgeable of the requirements to enter these spaces.

At Accuworx Inc. we consider the health and safety of our employees as well as those of the customer and sub contractors to be of paramount importance.  A complete hazard assessment detailing the dangers of the confined spaces and controls (engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment) put into place to protect the entrants are completed prior to any confined space entry.  Viable rescue plans are developed, communicated, and put into action as required to ensure that any event or emergency is adequately planned for thereby reducing the possibility of a significant incident.

• Trained and certified rescuers and attendants.
• Hazard assessment / controls and rescue protocol
• Staff trained in Confined Space Entry (CSE), Confined Space Rescue, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), Bonding/Grounding, Lockout/Tagout, Atmospheric Testing, Emergency First Aid, and CPR.
• Specialized Rescue Vehicles equipped with rescue retrieval systems and SCBA gear.
